"SweetVictory" is an online communication platform designed speicifically for diabetes patients. It serves as a unique forum for people with diabetes to share their experience in managing the condition. Typically, when people know they are not by themselves, they are empowered to face their challenges with greater resilience.
The website is built fully based on react.js with ES6. It is using the API provided by Google Firebase, which is also the cloud-based database of "SweetVictory" for storing user data.

According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC), people with diabetes are 2 to 3 times more likely to have depression than people without diabetes and are at an increased risk for suicide. This highlights the importance of addressing the mental health needs of individuals with diabetes. Additionally, a lack of ways to share their emotions might lead to mental health issues further down the line.
Via "SweetVictory", users can get to know people who suffer from the same disease regardless of age, gender, region, race, or social role. We provide a safe and supportive space where individuals can share their experiences, connect with others who understand their struggles, and access resources and information to help them manage the emotional and psychological aspects of living with diabetes.
